The Island is home to many temples, among which is WAT PHRA YAI, located in the north. Its 12 meters high Buddha makes it visible from a distance. Not far away is situated WAT PLAI LAEM, which stands out with its unique colourful architecture. Adding to its feel of tranquility, the temple is surrounded by a lake, which is teeming with fish.

Significant for the west area, is the Buddhist temple WAT KHUNARAM, most notable for the shrine “the Mummy Monk” – Luang Pho Dang who died in 1973. Remarkably, he demanded his body to be put on display as an indication of the transience of human

Chaweng, Chaweng Noï and Lamaï, are the three most beautiful beaches on Koh Samui which are just a few minutes drive from our villas. Cooling off with a fresh coconut, you’ll be astonished by their white sand and turquoise water.

Emerald Lake

Emerald Lake is one of the most popular and stunning features of the 42 Island
archipelagos- Ang Thong National Marine Park. It is only one hour away from Samui (by speedboat).

This saltwater lake formed naturally is surrounded by huge limestone walls and lush tropical forest. After a small ascent of 20 to 30 minutes, you can enjoy a breathtaking view on the deserted islands.

On the way back you can stop for a swim, snorkelling or some kayaking.
A day to be remembered!

Nam Tok Na Muang is the highest waterfall in Samui (30 m), situated in the center of the island, is only 12 km from Na Thon. The water rushes through sublime purple rocks. It is undoubtedly breathtaking, however, it is by far the least frequented waterfall in Samui.

There are two other waterfalls nearby, which together with Nam Tok Na Muang are positioned North of Hua Thanon. The smallest is called Na Muang 2. The second, Nam Tok Wang Saotong, is outstanding by means of beauty and is extremely accessible thanks to the recently renovated road.

The South Coast

It consists of some smaller beaches with incredible views to the islands dotted at the
horizon (Koh Tan & Koh Madsum).

A famous landmark is the Laem Sor Chedi situated in the rocky water edge.
Bang Kao is still rather undeveloped and the beaches are not suitable for swimming,
however, this area has its own natural beauty and offers a perfect hideaway for a
peaceful day far from the popular sites.
